My son is 6 and has multiple food allergies...he really needs to be tested again, but refuses because he remembers what the test entail! Being involved in a study might be a positive way to encourage him to get the testing done. I've started writing a blog about raising a son to live with food allergies...it's called Ryan. With Allergies. Check it out on smalltownmoms.com. Thanks! FDA has begun to develop a long-term strategy to help manufacturers use these statements in a clear and consistent manner, so that food-allergic consumers and their caregivers can be adequately informed as to the potential presence of major allergens.
